Dont we already know Luke followed the old teachings because in TLJ we learned he only started to reject them after the Ben Solo Incident? I do agree that I would love for Like not to fall into the same failings as the prequel Jedi, and have him either already know or quickly realize connections are good. But Im not sure if were gonna get that
