Well worth it; never going back to the phones ever again. Then got promoted 6 months later into a much more technical role. Unfortunately, while that came with a raise, my company is MAJORLY undercutting what the role is actually worth. So, I'm in the market, again. Sucks, because I quite like my manager and the people I work with.
