I didn't watch the footage, but Basculegion can jump, and the game also has seamless transitions between ride Pokemon, so maybe you just saw the player switch from Basculegion to Braviary.

Oh it wasn't footage, but a direct quote (4:49 in the NintendoLife review video):
"Basculegion, a super-sized Basculin evolution, enables you to fly and more"

I imagine they said 'fly' by accident instead of 'swim' as they were talking about the rideable pokemon in that section, but yeah. I'd forgotten about Braviary so it does seem very unlikely there'd be a second flying pokemon!
