I took a public speaking class in college which really helped me. I'm still not great but I'm no longer nervous in front of people. Honestly if I try to prep for a presentation, I'll mess up more than if I just go in there and wing it. I've found I can speak to a lot of people at work about a topic because I know damn well what i'm talking about so it's easy for me to do it. But if i'm forced to throw something together in front of people I get nervous about it. --- Drunk people really make a lot of sense if you don't know what they're talking about - Jim Lahey ...
