Did I ever tell you about the time I almost drilled my bosses 8 year old straight in the face?
It was the day after my 20th bday and I had been put and gotten so drunk I believed my friends who said it was like 7pm even though it was pitch dark.
I was so hungover at work I was puling and half dying but it was mostly shoveling and compacting so it didn't matter. Buddy I worked with was fucking with me all day and once while I was vent over puking I got a bottle of water dumped on me and I spun around to punch him in the stomach but it was my bosses kid and I stopped like an inch from his face. Boss saw the whole thing and I was yelling sorry immediately but the boss was just like "leave him alone for God's sake, son. He showed up and he's half dead." and we all went back to work.
Also when I say I was gonna punch buddy i mean hard but like friendly.
I love how your boss just knew you were fucked and yelled at his kid to get outta your way even though you probably shouldn't have been working anyway.
He was one of those old-school guys who are all about work ethic. Like he wasn't bothered I was hungover as fuck, he was more impressed that I still came in. Lol.
He was actually a pretty chill guy aside from being a stickler for always showing up and being on time.
