Topic	American Dad is actually underrated as hell.

There was just one season where he was in every episode, and like a close friend of the Smith family, and they really played his insanity up and made it a big focus of the episode which came off as really one-note and forced. He's amazing when he's used for jokes like these, but making a season where he's basically a main character next to the Smiths was a garbage decision.
