Thing is, you never know exactly how the judges are going to score. Damage to the armor is still damage to the bot, and I think the revamped Damage scoring rules take things like "Reduce the bot's defensive capabilities" as something to consider. Whiplash didn't do a lot of visible damage to Bloodsport, but Bloodsport took a few chunks off Whiplash, so there's a reasonable chance Damage could have gone Bloodsport's way...
But definitely I think control and aggression would land on Whiplash either way, he clearly controlled the box for the full 3 minutes.
