That's the second time now where the guest stars pulled me in instead of the main cast (the first being Azur Lane when Idolmaster came along), but I suppose that's not too surprising given how many games I'm playing that are based on existing series I already liked. Hell, the next gacha games I'm looking forward to are also based on previously established IPs (Street Fighter and Shining Force). Seems "new" IPs in this market are at a slight disadvantage when it comes to bringing in ready-to-go fans. On the other hand, it means most of them can try to actually be unique to make them stand out, whether its gameplay or character designs. Speaking of that... I couldn't help but notice that Alchemy Stars seems to have anthro dudes but no anthro gals that I've seen so far.
