I'm still playing the same four games as last time. I know I had said that I was done with Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage after that incident last week, but after taking a break for a week to cool down, I decided to reinstall it and at least play long enough to complete all of the unit stories.

I'm also enjoying the anime adaptation of Girls Frontline so far, as well as the second season of Princess Connect's anime. Plus, part of the reason why I decided to stick with Colorful Stage is because that's getting a chibi short anime too, and I want to know more about the characters.

Recently started Alchemy Stars as well for the Dragon Maid collab.

That's the second time now where the guest stars pulled me in instead of the main cast (the first being Azur Lane when Idolmaster came along), but I suppose that's not too surprising given how many games I'm playing that are based on existing series I already liked. Hell, the next gacha games I'm looking forward to are also based on previously established IPs (Street Fighter and Shining Force).

Seems "new" IPs in this market are at a slight disadvantage when it comes to bringing in ready-to-go fans. On the other hand, it means most of them can try to actually be unique to make them stand out, whether its gameplay or character designs.

Speaking of that... I couldn't help but notice that Alchemy Stars seems to have anthro dudes but no anthro gals that I've seen so far. I'm telling you developers, you're squandering a largely untapped market right there.

Continuing on my quest for a new game, I should clarify that Im looking for a hero collector kinda thing with a decent amount of characters. So although that means gacha 99% of the time, there are some that have units that you get by fulfilling conditions, like Lord of Heroes, or Kings Raid I think. LoH was fun but it took too much time :<

I guess my ideal game would be a narrowed down Epic Seven. I like the art, the gameplay, the reroll, the animations, etc. but it just eats up so much time <_<

Also dolls in GFL are mostly girls because they sell more (legit in-universe reason). There are male dolls, ofc.

Of course all size and curves exist, so you can have big breasted ara ara doll or bratty kids with chest flatter than board.

Is there a reason they give some dolls gigantic boobas while others have reasonably sized chests? Is this comic accurate lol

The time has come once again to burn 50+ hours in about 6 days on Granblue. Because Unite & Fight is just the best event.

Is it normal for the gear suggestion in the Azur Lane tier list page to make a kinda big change all of a sudden? In the first few days after Ulrich came out, the second best main gun was some gear that was gotten either via the lab or research 2 I think (Since the best gun for most/all BBs is that rainbow gun from Mirror Involution). But after I got it, I noticed that that gun just completely popped off :<

Like it didnt just get bumped down to 3rd, 4th, or 5th best recommended. Its completely gone off the list D:

Also should I give FdG an AP gun since Ulrich and New Jersey have HE?

Tier listing and recommendations involving a new ship are usually preliminary until the testers can get the ship leveled to 125, and max the skills. Everything before that is essentially theorycrafting.

-That was some big news for the recent client update and story event in Girls' Frontline on the older servers. AK-15 mod looks AMGERY! lol I can't wait to see what AN-94's mod looks like and how the other fairies are getting rebalanced.

-Just on the last week and a half or so of PGR's latest event. Nothing to report there.

-I got Ch'en's alter in 117 pulls, along with Toddifons, Mizuki, La Pluma, Indigo, Kirara, and the last token I needed to P6 Beanstalk.

I E2'd Chalter right away but need to wait before I can max S3 and S1. W is wrapping up her S3M3.

Tales of Grimm seems good so far. It seems like PriConne with fairy tale characters with idle features, plus, from what I hear, you can have the game do multiple grinding modes at once. Also it has bootleg Saber Lion lol

Revue Starlight ReLIVE is giving out free 10-pulls starting today to celebrate 1,000 days since the game's global launch. I've been playing the game for about 820 of those (I uninstalled it at one point to make room to play Symphogear XDU but we all know how that turned out) so this is by far the longest I've ever played a single gacha game. I'm kind of shocked that this niche game has lasted this long, but I'm also so happy to see the game (and the franchise as a whole) still doing well.

I was interested in Tales of Grimm but the Priconne gameplay is an instant turn off for me. I just hate RPGs with little agency in general

I'll 5/7/7/7 upgrade Cherino's skills, I guess.
The character's kit is way too useful and as the only useful Red Winter character (Nodoka base is pointless currently; Tomoe and Nodoka Onsen are still many months away coz they're recent in BluArc JP), it's very easy to upgrade her.

Same kinda applies to Shanhaijing, there's only Shun (primarily pvp), Shun Loli (okay red dps), Saya (bad), Saya Casual (yellow Hibiki).
So if I get Shun I can set up a powerful PvP team right away. And by the time we get a Shun Loli rate up, I'll have enough materials for her too.

Trinity is currently mostly Hanae+Serina, but next update will introduce Azusa and/or Koharu, many months later Natsu, so they'll be hard to raise.

Eh... I found Cherino annoying throughout that event story and I think her mustache is stupid, YEAH YOU HEARD ME, and my tolerance for a character can easily override however useful they are.

I liked some of the other students it introduced though, especially Shigure, but it sounds like most of them aren't playable yet.

Got Mizuki on today's free pull, and he's even more adorable than I thought possible. Also, have you seen the amount of gushing his artist has done on twitter regarding him?

Now I'm pondering which of the skins to get. Mudrock does look nice, but I don't have her and I kinda like the armoured behemoth she has without it. Red's is very nice, but she's rarely used and only comes out for like 2 seconds whenever used. Siderock just lol. Nice, but literally never used or will use her. Jaye's is nice, but meh at skins without any changes to attack effects.

Either way, got a day or two to wait until the skin ticket from Che'en comes to decide I guess.

TKFM is probably a drop for me as well, the situation with iOS has not changed and I basically missed out on the Xmas event. I already charged back a decent amount of money on it anyway (and then lost it all when FGO decided to fuck me over).

I was until I got shafted pretty hard. The lack of pity is disappointing and the rates didn't make up for it in my case.

Oh dang, I didn't know that they let you carry over time during a clan battle if you kill the boss. I sent a shitty grunt team to shave off the remaining 18K from Rai-Rai <_<

lol, yup. Is quite a nice feature, but not one I think is actively advertised anywhere (that I recall at least)

How do I map keys to places of the screen on Bluestacks? I did it before so I could auto run stages in Arknights, but I don't recall how :<

I just want to add another button so it's easier to do stuff in the base. I want one button on the thing to remove all operators and another to confirm after I select the replacements :3

Keyboard symbol (game controls) on the sidebar and select "open advanced editor".

Since this is my first post since topic 23, I might as well do the update on what I'm playing.

In my last post near the end of topic 23 I was frustrated with Blue Archive. Someone (I can't remember who I'm sorry to say) responded with some tips to make it less frustrating. As all of them were what I was already doing it didn't help at all (thanks for the try though. I appreciate it), so I just quit. Normally when I quit a game I've been playing for a month or more I have second thoughts at first and have to stop myself from redownloading it. Even a few years later I still have to stop myself from redownloading Girls' Frontline every few months. Not so with BA. I'm perfectly happy to never touch it again.

I almost quit Azur Lane at the same because I can't remember the last time I cared about any of the girls, especially new ones. I was just going to stay until the end of the event going on then, but I'm still playing. Not exactly sure why. Due to this and BA, I didn't post at all in topic 24.

I'm giving Girl Cafe Gun another try because of a reddit post. I quit it near launch because of the combination of Counter:Side and Azur Lane taking up too much of my time already, being told that BA was going to be better in every way, and my account being banned with no explanation ever given. Now I'm down to just this and AL so time isn't as much of an issue and BA turned out to be worse in every way (for me at least). Hopefully I don't get banned for nothing this time.

I had/decided to drop GCG due to space issues, and already having enough gacha's with more grinding than I like to have another. So many seem to enjoy making you keep your phone hooked up to a charger and in use 24/7.

BA is acquired taste I guess.

But then I also rather enjoy GFL (especially since I had a new phone, IT DOESN'T LAG) and BA is 'less hard' in a way.

I do agree that BA's 'walls' are much more troublesome, especially in terms of characters compared to GFL that barely has any gacha aspect in them.

i started watching princess connect last week and it made me start up the game. really good production values and super cute character but i dont get combat in this game at all lol, im following team comp guides and the characters im being told are tanks are getting turned to ash in seconds by just generic story nodes on just the 4th chapter

Gotta love that in Miku Colorful Stage, after an event story, characters knowing each other becomes canon and they get new dialogues in the overworld. Emu and Mafuyu with Emu being scared out of her mind every time gives me too much joy

Gear and levels are important.

Who do you have and what are you struggling on? Sometimes you magic units for big def boys, or will need someone to shred magic/physical defence and maybe a healer.

right now im on 4-6 at level 26, which is ironically the node that has most of what i need to rank up my magician people. the teams ive been trying to go at it with is hatsune-kokkoro-yukari-makoto and either pecorine or rima. rima seems to outtank pecorine atm but neither live long enough to avoid everyone else dying and yukari's heal doesnt proc fast enough to help much. maybe i should try to swap her out for another dps. everyone has all the gear that they can obtain at this point

im afraid im stuck at a wall unless i grind enough to ascend one of the tanks, which sucks because i really dont like the ascension mechanic in this game so far

Try leveling/gearing Yui. She's a starter character, her UB is a group heal that you can manage the timing for yourself, and you can grind shards to ascend her on 2-2 Hard. Yukari is a useful support overall but not a good enough healer to be your only one.

Unfortunately, Pecorine and Rima are among the weaker tanks until you get them really geared up later on. If you've pulled Miyako, then use her. If not, then your first focus should be grinding dungeon coins to unlock Nozomi. Once you get one of those two tanks (especially Nozomi, since she's also a secondary source of healing as well as a great tank) things become a lot easier. You could also try to ascend Pecorine (her shards come from 3-1 Hard) in the meantime, because she becomes more serviceable at 2-3 stars but she's just too weak at her initial 1 star level.

Because your characters can only level as high as your player level, sometimes there will be situations where the only real option is to just bide your time and level up a bit more. When you're as early in the game as you are, using gems for 3 stamina refills a day to do more gear or shard grinding is worth it because you'll earn those gems and more back from the story missions.

One more thing: When you get the chance, search for our "PrinCEsses" clan and join it. You can request gear from other clan members, and you can also use some of our (much higher level) characters as support units in dungeons and other areas of the game. You can't join today because the clan is currently full and I can't kick people in the middle of a Clan Battle, but the CB ends tomorrow and I'm going to do a little inactivity sweep, then you'll be able to join. When you do, post about it in here and say your in-game name.

I finally got around to fighting Overspeed Gabriel in PGR. That was a good challenge! I had to reboot 6 times before I could finish him off, so I still need a lot of practice for that fight.

thanks for the heads up. i left the random clan i joined when the game asked me to today so i have to wait for awhile but ill hop in when i can

finally got past that node too. had to struggle for awhile but i finally got rima strong enough to tank through stuff with everyone surviving for a few more nodes
