From what I understand SEA uses the JP servers and this is being done just as much to free up space there as it is for QOL to non-local players. And I'm assuming Aus and NZ are currently a mix of JP and NA players? Throwing that all together creates a uh...interesting culture clash in terms of playerbase habits.
