I like all the varied opinions today! The bottom 5 (sans Unfez >_>) are dominating the poll, looks like gen 8 might take this one.

In the end I went with Swellow, I have too much nostalgic attachment to go for anything else. Staraptor was absolutely a gamechanger though, and its call is locked into my memory. I also appreciate that Pelipper is so goofy and happy to be here with all the other birds trying to look cool lol.

it's really too bad Toucannon kinda sucks in the games. its design is so great.

Agreed, I dumped Toucannon post-E4 ingame because it was no fun to use, despite the cool design :( I give it props for the great animation of the beak lighting up when it does that one attack tho.

Play New Pokemon Snap.

This has me thinking, 5 of these birds are in New Snap (at least, there may be one I haven't discovered yet!) and 8 of them have their line represented somehow. The only ones that don't are Fearow and Corviknight, I wonder why they didn't use Corv at all.
