Current Ranking:

  1. Half-Life 2
  2. Portal 2
  3. Silent Hill 2
  4. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
  5. Resident Evil 4
  6. Mass Effect 2
  7. Portal
  8. Persona 5: Royal
  9. Final Fantasy VII
  10. New Pokemon Snap
  11. Sonic Adventure 2: Battle
  12. Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations
  13. Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony
  14. Bioshock
  15. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
  16. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc
  17. Final Fantasy XIV
  18. Batman: Arkham City (Arkham Asylum was a bit too insular, so having a game with that gameplay, but with a much larger sandbox to play in, was a marked improvement. It helped to really emphasize the number of enemies Batman had to fight, since you could have different regions of the city controlled by different gangs. It just felt like a stronger narrative because there was more wiggle room in what the writers had to work with, and I think the game very much benefitted from that.)
  19. Detroit: Become Human
  20. Super Smash Brothers: Ultimate
  21. God of War (2005)
  22. Batman: Arkham Asylum
  23. Donkey Kong 64
  24. Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair
  25. Tetris
  26. The Sims (I never played it for real, instead opting to use cheat codes. I mean, a lot of the career advancement required a bunch of family friends, which means populating my neighborhood with families, when I'm just trying to focus on my one little house. Still, it's fun to try and build a complete life for these little Sims, even if it inevitably devolves into screwing with them at every possible opportunity.)
  27. The Bouncer
  28. Pokemon: Platinum
  29. Super Mario 64
  30. Banjo Kazooie
  31. Phoenix Wright: Justice for All
  32. World of Warcraft
  33. Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors
  34. Star Fox Adventures
  35. Half-Life
  36. Final Fantasy X
  37. Soul Calibur II (This is a fun enough fighting game, but most fighting games aren't exactly my thing. I prefer a bit more story or lengthier gameplay than anything else. At least the version I played featured Link, so that was amusing enough. But I wish it had the character creator of some of the later games.)
  38. Final Fantasy IV
  39. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl
  40. Half-Life: Opposing Force
  41. Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal
  42. Team Fortress 2
