I'm like Raka in that I never really considered Samus a waifu but also haven't played any Metroid games, or maybe it's an inherent bias towards waifus in supporting rather than main character roles. She fits the waifu A-E-S-T-H-E-T-I-C but is the waifu personality there? I'll probably play some Metroid games... some day... Suprak the Stud posted... Maybe I was the only one assuming Samus would win though. Nah I was there with you, I always begin with a default assumption of "NintendoFAQs" and "FF7 never wins" so I had both bases covered here, lol. Making the finals is always a great achievement. But even then I'm surprised it wasn't at least closer, especially since Zelda lost last year to a far lesser-known RPG heroine. Samus is that much more popular I guess, or just the year-over-year change in participants/savers? In any case: thanks again for running this Inviso! My plan to only pop late into Save Mys worked out all right in this case (not at all for the Smash contest), though lots of quality waifus were still standing in case Tifa was bounced early.
