Haven't played the games and I think I ended up not finishing the newer anime but I can't remember why I stopped watching it. I don't think I outright dropped it, so I guess I got sidetracked by something else. Watched a few new episode 1s of the new season. Magic crest feels very generic power fantasy but it's slightly watchable so far. Good chance I'll drop it next episode if it doesn't get better. Realist kingdom S2 so far is solid like the first one.
