finally a topic yess

yeah first episode was kinda jarring in a way, not that I didn't like it (although I've certainly seen lots of criticism) but it wasn't what I expected.. and also it's just very split-up between the flashback and "present" day to the point it feels like it's trying to tell two different stories.

also I wasn't expecting Boba to be so humbled in the first ep - like yeah I know that's his legacy in the movies as someone that got chumped by the Sarlacc Pit but I figured they'd go in with an OP Fett to suit his commercial image even further than Mando

Second episode was really good although this time it really does just drop the present-day stuff to largely focus on the Tusken times, which was all fascinating to watch their cultural development, Boba training Tuskens with the speeders, and taking quite the leadership role negotiating with the Pykes. Not completely sold on the present-stuff yet but this ep did give some Hutts and freaking Black Krrsantan which is really cool so I'm wanting more of it. Right now I'm just hoping that the Tusken flashbacks kinda reach its conclusion soon so the show can focus on the current stuff, even though it was certainly the highlight this week. It does feel like its getting there though, as the Pyke stuff leads into his new goals with Mos Espa.
