The one at the beginning can only be killed by waiting for it to walk next to a fire extinguisher, shooting the extinguisher to blind it, and then you can actually stealth kill it. Of course, that leaves the issue of the other bugged one, who is further away from the exit, but you're not given extra time to flee. Seven years and they never fixed those things. And I can't imagine they ever will, since it's available on older systems that are basically on life support now.
