Come to another conclusion. The themes/morals of the story conflict.

Peter has to learn to live with the consequences of his decisions and life.
Peter is right to do what he is doing because "that's what we do", as said by the other Spideys.

Was Peter wrong to try to avoid dealing with the consequences of his decisions? Or was he right to cause problems by trying to, because it's the "right thing".

Seems as though the moral is "Do the right thing. You will be punished for it. Deal with it."

Like, MJ made it clear the entire movie - she's down with him being a hero. Ned too. Peter repeatedly made decisions in spite of that. He repeatedly ignored Doctor Strange. And he gets rewarded by the other Spideys clapping him on the back, telling him that's what they do, and then he fucking breaks every promise he ever made to MJ and Ned?

Man, fuck him.
