I can't think of too many worse assaults on consumer rights in this industry than to lock games to a console/require you to always be online. it's a disaster and if it's true I hope people will boycott any system/game that does this.

yeah, I think it's s***ty there too

but you can have that game on multiple computers and can play the game offline in a lot of cases unless I'm mistaken. it's still nowhere near what we should find acceptable but it is a step above "this game is tied to one console and you must always be online to play it."

in an ideal world people would sell games with no copy protection or DRM. I don't think that would be anywhere near the disaster for sales that companies seem to think. the Indie Bundles should stand as evidence that it's viable in some circumstances at least.
