TopicWhy are pretty much all concerts designed to suck?

I've been to a lot of concerts where the audio is so loud, some instruments didn't even need to show up. It'd kinda weird. I have seen zero consistency in this regard.

To me, though, the show experience is worth it....sometimes. A lot of my favorite bands are a little more obscure, but the shows are awesome because they aren't in a stadium. They are on a stage, fairly among the people. A band like Bad Religion can draw a decent crowd, but the show is generally more intimate. If you want to be in the front row, feet from the musicians, just stand in line a few hours before the show or be an asshole and force your way up there as the lights dim for the opener. Same price either way. To me this kind of experience is worth technical sound issues. A lot of these concerts tend to just be noise, and I do not know why.
