40th: Cupid

Cupid was one of the five brand new abilities in Amazing Mirror, the others being Magic, Mini, Missile, and Smash.

Kirby could shoot arrows at an angle (or should we say, angel). The arrows would descend during their flight, making for some unusual aiming. Kirby could also float in the air while attacking thanks to the wings that were on his back.

This is one of two abilities from Amazing Mirror to return in Squeak Squad, the other being Magic. The ability did not return after that.

Cupid is known as Angel in Japan.

Cupids successor is Archer, which instead fires arrows in a straight line.

(And with that, were down to three Flagship abilities. Magic, Smash, and Ghost.
