So his parents and wife don't get him presents? That must be a direct shot at them since he has no other friends or family in his life. Again, he tells everyone how the world works based on his experiences as a miserable hermit who has gone out of his way to turn his back on every friend he ever had while avoiding making new friends.

I'm assuming he gets tiny knick knacks like a sweater or other clothing, but he doesn't count that as a true Wolverine figure-esque present. Not something to get excited for or to make the day special.

Essentially it seems he's treating Christmas as a day off where he doesn't have to go buy things.
