She's also only been in the bottom half of the tier-list once, a distinction only shared within the LoZ series by Toon Link and Young Link. Also, notice how Sheik is far above Zelda with every appearance up until Ultimate. Zelda's reeeaaally trying to catch up with Sheik with the Switch! Does this matter? Yes! Imagine if Marth had a starring role in Ocarina of Time and didn't look or play like seven other jabronies. That's Sheik (get wrecked Marth). There's no perfect comparison available, but Pikachu and Fox have both been regularly ranked highly in the Smash-series and they can both cause some serious damage. Pikachu and Fox are a bit different, sure; they both have been in Smash since the beginning, and they both have leading roles throughout their original series. In Sheik's favor though, you do NOT underestimate Ocarina of Time. Since Epona beat Ike nearly as much as Pikachu once did, Sheik's got to at least be in the conversation against Pikachu and Fox. She could outright beat them both! That's a quality spot for any debut character, and who knows -- she could surprise us even more from there! Link is the best LoZ-character in the Smash-series, and hes #1 on GameFAQs. Meanwhile, Sheik is the best Smash-character in the LoZ-series Lets find out what that means for her.
