It's the early rounds that need to go quick so it doesn't drag out the contest for months and months like VGMC used to. With 15 total matches remaining, worst case is 15 days (plus ultra-late tiebreakers). Doing 2 per day in R4 makes that...11. Not exactly a big savings.
