If they were both murderers you wouldn't say "well thats not fair, those kids need their parents"...they fucked up and anything that happens to the kids is on them, not the people punishing them. What if parent A has no real knowledge of guns, doesn't want to be around them, and agreed to let parent B have them in the house as long as they took full responsibility for it? That doesn't seem fair to me to punish A for B's fuckup. At that point it's not much of a stretch to charge a wife if she knew her husband has a drinking problem and he takes the family van out to the bar then goes for a drive and kills someone. --- "You go.
