Topic	Others have inspired me to continue playing Kingdom Hearts (spoilers)
Underleveled 11/29/21 9:31:46 AM #105:	Played a lot on Thanksgiving, but didn't play Friday/Saturday/Sunday at all. Picked it back up again this morning, and I've cleared through Olympus and am now at the Disney Castle. Some thoughts... -Like in the first game, I'm trying to do every world, even optional ones or branching routes where you only need to complete one world to proceed. I might make an exception if I come across an optional world that's so unbelievably frustrating to me that I'd rather quit the game than continue. -Some of the Mushu dialogue was awkward for me because I never got his summon in the first game or Re:CoM. -I'm finding combat to be a little more difficult in this one, not just with bosses but even with common enemies. Lack of lock-on as far as I can tell may attribute to that but also I'm still getting acclimated to the new combat features. But I have gotten the hang of them. I struggled through China and the Beast's Castle and even though Shan Yu and the Castle boss weren't absurdly difficult they were tough battles for me because I felt like I was doing much less damage than I should have been. But Underworld/Olympus went very smoothly for the most part. The sub-bosses were jokes, especially the Organization member with the guitar (I think that's Saix or Demyx?) which felt like a mindless button mash, and Pete was a total pushover. The Hydra wasn't a difficult battle but it was long and convoluted. I was never remotely in danger of losing but I WAS like "Jesus will this thing die already?" -I'm not sure who I expected Hades' supervillain to be but it definitely wasn't Auron and I REALLY wasn't expecting him to join the party! But I feel like his story got cut short. He just left the party abruptly with little to no explanation of what he was doing in the underworld in the first place, so I hope he returns at some point to tie up those loose ends. Very weird that the Hercules world has been in every game so far and yet Herc himself has never been a party member.
