We find that Ernest Amano, Lance's dad, bought the haunted house outright using the ransom money cash that was in the suitcase. Sorry, let's try that again FT/mdb style: Wealthy murderer's DAD buys up CRIME SCENE property to prevent INVESTIGATION?? Is he HOT??? ...like, idk man, someone's probably into those earlobes. Right? Anyway, now it's Mr Amano's property and he won't give us permission to investigate it. Miles insists on uncovering the truth, like the completely delusional legal professional that he is.
