I think you are just so used to being by yourself that it's made you selfish to point you only care about yourself. And going out of your way to meet people in the middle is uncomfortable. I think you do desire it (humans are social), but you don't want to work for it because it's out of your comfort zone. You are too comfortable with yourself. Not good for you long term. Watch this
