Even if they did complain they're still better off than working for the same amount. To your point, I do believe our current population wouldn't be that productive, but that's because we were raised to be worker bees. From a young age we go through the indoctrination of public education that funnels us right into the rigid bereaucracies and control systems that get us used to the idea that "free time" is something to be spent on frivolous activities. I think people are naturally industrious if you give them the freedom of choice and time. They can all provide way more to society with self-driven creative goals than all the unskilled labor they do. It might take a cultural shift or the next generation to use their free time well, but it'll be better for everyone. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
