In a world where people are confused about the rules of masks, I'd say you're the equivalent of someone who leaves a shopping cart out in the open because you're too lazy to put it back to the cart area. Again, people are extremely confused about mask policies; they're getting a variety of information related to vaccines and masks and two, a lot of places that "enforce it" don't enforce it in practice.
