This isn't necessarily calculus. Only thing calculus will tell you in this equation is the natural slope, which is just dy/dx = 3.

However, the original equation is completely the slope equation of y = mx + b where b is the y intercept.
This graph is a straight line with a rise over run of 3 and it crosses the y-axis at positive 4.
