Were talking about kids here. Say what you will about having kids responsibly or whatever, but the economy literally cant afford people to not have kids, and that includes poor and lower-middle class people.

Without knowing the details, I assume it would be a phased out limit like most tax breaks. 60k should also cover most lower middle class outside of high cost of living areas.

All taxes should take into account cost of living but thats another issue entirely.
