Thats the point of the article, to get Trump anti-vaxxers to go get vaccinated

According to the CDC, 99.5 percent of those dying of the China Flu are unvaccinated. So even if theyre lying or exaggerating, even if its 75 or 80 percent, those numbers are pretty stark.
Could it be? Could it possibly be that the left has manipulated huge swathes of Trump voters into believing they are owning the left by not taking the life-saving Trump Vaccine?

The push for mandates is another ploy to get us to dig in and not do whats best for ourselves because no one wants to feel like theyre caving to a mandate.
Final note: How many of you were aware the CDC believes that 99.5 percent of those dying are unvaccinated? I bet not many of you. So why would themetric that is the most convincing one not be all over the place? Once you learn that 99.5 percent of deaths are unvaccinated, it cuts through all the muck. That number is startling, an eye-opener Forget cases, forget mandates, forget masks, and Howard Stern When you learn that almost everyone dying is unvaccinated, thats a come to Jesus moment.

I mean, its pretty clearly not budget-related except to the extent that almost anything the government does incidentally affects the budget. If the majority doesnt want to follow the existing rules they can change them, but blaming the parliamentarian for correctly interpreting the rules as they exist is just silly.

The fact that the right will steadfastly go against any policy the left supports, even for things that would benefit them and that they previously agreed with (and have somehow forgotten that they did), is so stunningly stupid. Less than a year ago when Trump has boasting about the vaccine being made they didn't have any issues, but now when nothing has changed about it except that Biden wants people to take they suddenly have a big problem with it? It's something that would help end the pandemic and help the country re-open fully again, things that the right WANT, and they still argue against it. I use to joke that Republicans hate Democratic policies so much that they'd argue against a proposal that was purely beneficial to them, and now I see that isn't even limited to something that would save their lives. What a joke.

Not sure I agree with Mitch's position on the debt ceiling, which is that it's not his job or the job of the Republicans to do anything about it, because Democrats technically have the votes to pass it on their own. He is a senator, so it is his job. I mean, he could have reasons to vote no, but his vote not being strictly necessary to pass the bill doesn't seem like a reason.

Pretty much no movement anywhere, Lib/Con/NDP (center, right, left resp.) all with gains, losses coming from Quebec's nationalist party, the Bloc Qubcois, and independents/vacancies

(adjusting for Libs/Cons that went independent/vacant, they have net 0 change from 2019)

This year there was some hype around the far-right, sole anti-lockdown/vaxx party PPC finally splitting votes away from the Cons... which did not end up materializing in any way whatsoever, remaining still with zero seats and it's hard to point to any seat the PPC actually might've even SFF'd the Cons out of a win

Ireland has effectively the same parliamentary system as Britain and Canada but uses the single transferable vote rather than first past the post and as a result has one of the most proportional democracies in the world that keeps the multi-party pluralism and local representation of the other systems while actually being democratic.

Also in the UK its the left that loses out not the right - after UKIP in 2015 (who did get one seat) the far right effectively no longer exists (Brexit Party turned out to be an absolute non-factor) and that means that the ~43% of right leaning people all vote for one party while the ~57% of left leaning people split the vote pointlessly. FPTP is a joke and needs to go.

I work for one of the largest scientific companies in the world and on our own company forums there are people talking about how they're not afraid, risks outweigh the benefits, etc etc. It's pretty disheartening.

But it does at least give me a list of people to avoid when it comes to exploring internal opportunities!

This to me reads as the person in change of finances at Breitbart realized that all their most loyal readers were dying and they had to find some kind of bizarre alt-right sugar coating to get their readers to change their mind about the vaccine. Republicans up in arms over Progressives cutting Iron Dome Funding from the bill because "This saves lives" still refuse to vote for funding Universal Healthcare which would also save lives -- American lives, at that.

And that's because it's not about lives at all, it's about lining the pockets of defense contractors. If we could figure a way for Universal Healthcare to fill the pockets of Defense Contractors, we'd have it tomorrow.
