It's such a great integration of gameplay and storytelling. Thinking about it this way, I suppose I agree. It's just that my Cecil was so overleveled he was one-shotting everything on his way up! Coming down couldnt help but feel weaker. And yeah, I got lucky against that tsunami boss. Somehow it was my two healers who survived, which let me recover.
