Yeah you're right, I think I mostly just bristled at the idea he was uniquely responsible for hurting the DQ series when it's also on Square for continuing to associate with him. Because the legal solution was always to throw him and his music in the trash and get a new composer, but that's not what the fans want. Ultimately it'll probably be easier for SE to buy out the new rights holders now so everyone wins in the end except Sugiyama. --- I definitely did not forget to put the 2020 GOTD Guru winner, azuarc in my sig! ...
