Dammit Florida! Be normal!

Florida man farted and shitted while holding his stomach, video shows

Video of a Florida man farting and shitting while holding his stomach was recently uploaded to YouTube.

Rafael Garcia, a 35-year-old Florida man, uploaded the video after feeling some discomfort while holding in his gas.

The whole point of doing this was to hopefully, at the end of it, he would have a better grasp on what was going on, Garcia told Florida Today.

The whole point was to make him feel better.

The video begins with Garcia sitting in a chair next to his toilet in his bathroom.

As he inhales and exhales, Garcia releases a loud fart. The sound is recorded by a hidden camera.

About a minute later, Garcia releases a fart that reaches a high-pitched squeal before it dissipates.

Finally, a minute-and-a-half into the video, Garcia farted and shat out another foul-smelling ball.

"Don't forget to hit the 'share' button, man," Garcia tells the cameraman as the video ends.

The footage may be a gag, but its a pretty good example of what it means to suffer from IBS.

The condition, which is not uncommon in the U.S., is thought to affect about 20 percent of the population, and is often characterized by bouts of constipation and diarrhea, though it can also lead to a chronic condition known as diverticular disease, in which hard and soft portions of the intestine bulge outward.

"In many cases, patients with IBS are not able to eat normally," says J. Michael Zundel, a gastroenterologist at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison. "They feel like their stomach is empty and then eat a lot to relieve this feeling."
