There are four basic elements that create any life.

Those four elements are light, air, fire and water.

If they are not arranged in the correct order, no life is possible.

And thats exactly the reason why there is no life in deserts.

In fact, all the water that has ever fallen in the deserts of the Earth, all the water that is coming from the oceans and all the water that is coming from clouds, are too cold to have kept the fire going.

And once fire cannot keep on, there is no life.

But we humans are not deserts.

We do not live in deserts, where there is no life.

On the contrary, we live in the most extreme conditions on Earth:

We live in deserts.

The Earth is the only planet on which life can be formed.

The planets in our Solar System are also very nice places where life can grow, but the process has a longer time-span: it can take hundreds of thousands or millions of years.

No matter how cold the water on one of these planets gets, no matter how hard it is to get oxygen there, life is possible on the surface of these planets.
