Its an absurd thought, but many parents, Im sure, have imagined the horror of having to navigate all the different factors that come with raising a child alone. And in the world of parenting, especially on social media, its all too easy to be influenced by one-sided, negative stories, and that makes it easy to think youre the only one dealing with the hardships of parenthood.

But all you need to know is that youre not the only parent who has to deal with this life alone.

In fact, most parents I know have either a single mother or father who provides for the childs needs and care and is usually not at home during the childs waking hours.
