But when I did it really disturbed me. It turns out that large areas of Washington and Oregon are conservative, but nobody ever talks about. People just think about Portland and Seattle Grew up in Rogue Valley, it was interesting. Five miles one direction was a town with a bunch of rich old conservative people. Ten miles a different direction was a hyper liberal college town.
