I can kind of agree to this. The problem is the acting and the dialogue are what you're experiencing while actually watching the movie. And those are both just so so god awful in 1 and 2. There is zero reason I would ever watch 1 and 2 again (besides a few particular scenes, they mostly never reach "so bad it's good" territory, unfortunately), whereas 9 isn't a complete chore to actually watch, just a clusterfuck when you think about it. --- - Blur - Welcome to your Divinity. ...
