Tried subbing Rem in again for a run since admittedly I haven't tried her since I got Fusoya's toys. Wanted to give her a fair shake. Did one run with her and one run with Minwu on the bottom max difficulty dungeon, Corridor of the Tower, actually paid attention to both

I guess the big thing here that you guys aren't really realizing due to having loved and appreciated her for magicite battles and the like is that that fast CT doesn't really matter for auto battle labyrinth if your team is optimized well as what happens is Rem gets at most two sync actions and the enemy is dead. If you had her sync at rank 5 I could see maybe getting three with my setup but I'm just saying ATB hacks don't matter as much if your party is all dumping out damage rapidly because there are less ATBs to shorten.

So here is how the fights go with Rem and with Minwu generally. Sap ticks can screw up the turn order but this is what I see every time they don't (and really saps just swap some turns overall turn count ends up being the same)

Lightning - Fabula Guardian
Yuna - Alexander (VI)
Hope - Future Hope
Fusoya - Engage Arcane Dyad
Lightning - Blaze Rush
Minwu - Seal of Mysidia
Yuna - Final Wall (because she lightning and hope start with haste this only ends up losing a tiny bit off Fusoya's CT speed. Rem/Minwu are still casting AASB/Sync here)
Rem - Saintly Huntcraft
Hope - Enchanted Boomerang
Lightning - Blaze Rush
Alexander - Holy Luster
Fusoya - Apex W-Meteo
Yuna - Yearning Prayer
Lightning - Blaze Rush
Rem - Dagger Dia / Minwu - Holy VIII
Hope - Sacred Mist
Fusoya - Bless (with Minwu the fight is often over by now if fatigue is low)
Yuna - For the Calm
Rem - Dagger Dia / Minwu - Holy VIII (95% of the time the fight is over by this turn with Minwu)
Alexander - Holy Luster
Lightning - Blaze Rush (I actually haven't seen past this turn using Minwu aside from the boss, to my knowledge)
Yuna - Alexander (VI) (with Rem the fight is usually over here at fatigue 10)
Rem - Dagger Dia
Hope - Sacred Mist (I've never seen any turns after this aside from the boss with Rem)
Fusoya - Bless
Lightning - Blaze Rush
Rem - Dagger Dia

So the big difference is with Rem the fight sees For The Calm and later turns a lot more often. The reason is Minwu casts Holy VIII 3+ times 62% of the time whereas Rem will only double cast Dagger Dia 35% of the time. Minwu's AASB entry damage is much higher than Rem's Sync entry damage (8500x15 vs 4000x15 for most enemies) and activates faster than her sync (his AASB is rank 8 currently due to a few dupes and one honing scroll, Rem is still at rank 1). The base damage on his actions is also substantially higher, I suspect due to ability boost mattering more than empowered enholy but he's also just got stronger bases due to more use as I only have around 140 magia on Rem to Minwu's 400+-- I've seen Rem fail to cap on tankier enemies like Marilith, Ramza, and Alexander on her first turn due to lower chain count. The only thing Minwu won't cap on is Alexander, but on second turn+ comes really close, like 17k range.

While it's true with some more resources into Rem (honing her Sync and getting her more Magia) this would be a closer call, right now Minwu clearly is more effective for me and given how quick the fights go I actually think he has the edge in general due to a significantly higher tri/quad cast rate. Minwu quad casts 12% of the time and tri-casts 50% of the time making his turns more efficient than Rem's. A quad cast Minwu turn is almost as good as two Rem turns, even if he gets less of them in theory-- and in practice ATB tricks don't matter all that much when fights are only going a few turns.

Whether the team is fatigued matters a bit. At lower than fatigue 10 Lightning contributes significant damage and even Rem setup can often outpace For the Calm. At fatigue 10 Lightning has trouble capping and ends up doing like 1/2 her non-fatigued damage.

I do wonder if there are better optimizations to be made though ignoring the Rem vs Minwu thing. Swapping Lightning for someone else or maybe just having Yuna use The Sending after her wall rather than meter glint + AASB. I feel like some enemies might have lethal damage threat using only the Sending AOE at healing though. Also a historia crystal seems like it might be decent for better entry damage considering I'm getting two summons off and am easily capping with most-- but not sure how much losing the empower holys will matter for hitting damage caps

Also just for the record Minwu team finishes the boss with Hope's Sacred Mist, 3 turns before, with Minwu casting Alexander for some reason but Yuna doing good damage with twincast Sending.
