How?

Everybody does a basic brush. Its the first thing you do and learn. Mouthwash and flossing could be a followup for second, but if mouthwash is primarily for freshening breath and/or removing bacteria, then it should follow flossing, which removes bacteria first (and anything missed during the initial brush) in order to complete the perfect dental trifecta.


I'm not thinking about things too hard but I kinda look at it as, flossing gets the big stuff out. Brushing wipes off most of the remainder. And mouthwash then has the final clear shot at disinfecting the unseeable stuff.

This is assuming 1 of each max, and no giant time gaps. Maybe a tiny gap between brush and wash.
