| The_Hat 09/17/21 3:04:32 PM #43: | A computer is like a full service library where you sit down at a desk and the librarian brings you books. The case is the building itself, it can be big and comfy and less cramped or small and compact. If it's bigger it's usually better for airflow, but often it doesn't matter much. The RAM is the size of the desk you sit at. A bigger desk means you can have a lamp, stapler, several open books, a snack, and other useful things open on the desk at once. The graphics card is how pretty the desk and everything on it is, a bad graphics card is a cheap Ikea desk, a good one is a mahogany desk. The hard drive is how many bookshelves you have to store everything. The processer is the librarian, if you have an old librarian it'll take her a while to go get your books and put them away. If you have a great one then you have a 20 year old on rollerblades.
