My last trip to the dentist didn't go as well as I would have liked. I did some research on mouthwash and it actually might not be as good as it sounds for fighting cavities. The fluoride content in your toothpaste is much stronger so it's actually better to not rinse your mouth out afterwards. The mouthwash can still be used in the middle of the day for a quick cleaning, or 30 minutes after brushing. That is the new method I'm going to try.

Pre-rinse mouthwash
Floss
Brush (Spit only, no rinsing out afterwards)
