Not really. You're just being that guy. Story-wise, both versions suck. The original's character-work sucks harder, though. Brotherhood has some great-looking fight scenes, although that wasn't enough to keep me going, particularly when Brotherhood covers many of the first FMA's story beats but in less detail and with less buildup. You care about the original's Hughes. Brotherhood's Hughes you don't really get much of a feel for. Judgmenl posted... The only other one I'd recommend is Dragon Ball (and none of its sequels).
