1. Needing to go to grad school to even getting a decent job
2. College students moving back home after college
3. Living with parents in general due to financial reasons

I agree those are legitimate factors but it doesn't explain why MEN are having less sex than women. After all, isn't it MEN that naturally would want more sex? I'd also discount off the factor on gays since they only make up 1% of the population. so wouldnt affect survey data much... if they happen to made up the respondents

I've done some informal (of course, flawed) askings and my own surveys on random forums around and hoenstly I notice this trend too. Women are more likely to report having sexual encounters and more bodycounts than men do. I accounted for the factor that more men on the internet would tend to be the losers and stuff (ahem) but hey, it's the women on this same internet answering too.

All in all, the statistic holds up and poses the ultimate question, WHY? Even the media refuses to acknowledge it obviously, instead giving reasons that are only applicable to both genders
