But let's be honest China has always been able to play the long game. You don't see Americans screaming to their congressman about china. No, you see the average overweight American yelling about abortion or Mexicans and continuing to buy their microwaves, coffee makers, and plastic ware from China. I guarantee that the average Chinese isn't talking about anything like that. Because the government decides what the issues should be. The only thing that stops China from just beginning to conquer is the fact that they share an 8000 mile border with a country that hates the fuck out of them and would GLADLY use atomics if they thought they could get away with it. --- I know, indeed, the evil of that I purpose; but my inclination gets the better of my judgment. - Euripides ...
