The kid from the Nevermind album filing that lawsuit got me thinking. My parents did them for me and my brothers. I was 13 when my youngest brother was born and it kind of weirded me out when my mom told me she was having the photos done and then she was like "I have photos of you and *redacted other brother's name* too" and I was like so you take naked baby photos of your children and show them to everyone?

But apparently it's kind of common so I just passed it off as some weird parent thing. Now I'm 32 about to get married and possibly have kids in the future and I still don't see me ever doing something like that. I don't really think its some sexual pedo thing, it's just nudity and I wouldn't really care if someone saw their diaper being changed or being bathed, but it just seems kinda weird to have professional photos to show your friends and family.

Any of you parents out there have this done for your kids, or did your parents do the same for you?
