One of my favorite understated comedy moments in the series is Edgeworth using Rhoda's suitcase to deliver the ransom.
YES. I loved this little nod, an excellent opportunity to offload the eyesore. I'm tempted to recreate it so I can order one of those custom luggage covers of it. Retina-searing. Tssss.

That part with the Proto Badger spooked me a little back in the day when I played it past Midnight
Nooo. Ahhhh. The AA franchise is peppered with little moments that are kinda freaky. I recall I started avoiding playing JFA 2-4 at night, what with Shelly de Killer and all that. D:

AAI1-3: Kidnapped Turnabout

Kay and Miles bum around the room, seeing an identical mirrored room across the hallway, and determining that there is a door in the floor. A floordoor. A trap door? Not really since it's locked, but whatever.

Kay just JUMPS DOWN IN THERE with zero provocation, omg XD We find that there's a removable ladder, and use it to climb over the lockers and out the door. Kay JUMPS down again from the window but Miles takes the safer [and way funnier] route of sliding down a flagpole. The two find themselves in front of the Ten Gallon Hat Saloon, along with nearly 100 members of special forces of some kind, and meet Agent Lang of Interpol.

If this guy's personality was any bigger, there wouldn't be room for the game itself XD Wow. He's very intense about solving cases quickly and efficiently, while still acknowledging and respecting each person who's a part of it. The scads of men that follow his orders are fiercely loyal to the guy, and you can see why. Not only is he impossibly cool, but he is big on morale. Lang is supremely sassy to Edgeworth and tells him he doesn't need to bother, as this case will be solved before you know it. Also calls him a filthy prosecutor. It's rude.

Also rude is Kay informing Gumshoe that she's Edgeworth's assistant now and that she stole his role. Gumshoe is ... incensed at the very suggestion XD I love how possessive he is of helping out "Mr Edgeworth". He's also adorable when you present a variety of items to him - admitting that he mixes up his badge and his wallet often, and sheepishly admitting he doesn't know much about certain things.

We must press on and see what we can find here in Wild West Land. See you next week!
