39 y/o Bad Actress,

I thought her previous performances were praised?

It follows a strong willed woman who survives an attempt by serial killer trucker "White Knuckle" and haunted by her encounter and the cops inability to catch her tormenter she partners with a trucker to end the killer's reign

What does this have to do with "patriots"? It's just a horror movie, and as nontroversial as you can get. Honestly, the outraged reactions are just silly, and demonstrate how stupidly partisan people are nowadays since there's nothing overtly political to be incensed about given the description.

It's going to be terrible trash. They wanna start filming in October and have it release in Q1, 2022? That thing that's 6-9 months away? lol

That's a terrible trash opinion, based on a misunderstanding of how movies are produced. Honestly, it's such a fundamentally terrible opinion that I'm not sure how you even reached it. They already have a script, they apparently already have funding, so it's just a matter of filming, post-production, etc. "OMG! 6-9 months!" is just silly, considering that Oscar-winning films have been shot in a MONTH or less. Usually when films "take years", that includes hiring, writing the script, funding, re-hiring because people drop out, working around schedules, rewriting the script because the people just hired on want to make changes, and often marketing.

As for post-production, a lot of that comes down to how many people are involved and the state of the original footage, as well as if they're screening it at film festivals. More importantly, when somebody says "Q1 2022," that's not necessarily going to be when it actually comes out.

it's obvious political trash, but some great films were done in just a few days time

lolwut? Did you even read the description? jfc...

I can't think of one movie that did their shooting and post production in 9 months that's considered great. I would love to be proven wrong though.

Overlooking the difficulty of just trying to google that information, a lot of the time between filming and release has *nothing* to do with post-production (because films are slotted into companies' distribution schedules and marketing plans, which has less to do with that film than it does with every film the distributor has coming out), at least as it pertains to the quality of the film.

However, a simple google search completely debunks your unbelievably ignorant statements because at least ONE example only took minutes to find.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Post_(film)

Filming for the Post began on May THIRTIETH 2017 (ie, the next to last day of the month, so really June), and it was released in December 2017. That's a little over six months *and* that's including a distributor slotting it into their schedule when it likely could have been released earlier, as well as the fact that the director was working on other projects at the time. And it was nominated for two Oscars.
