It's not digestible by you and I but all transactions are public record to my knowledge and market makers can see vulnerable positions like that Like all these spreads you have are in plain view as I understand it if you can sift through all the buys and sells made in a day If they can force you to exercise long calls to cover that is a net positive to them as the premium you pay for the long calls is higher than the premium you receive for the short ones. I mean you can think it's "luck" but I think if you keep doing that you're going to get burned every time-- better to just use this to learn instead --- No problem!
